Dover: John P. Kelly CPA has announced that, effective August 31, his firm of Patterson & Kelly P.A. will be joining forces with First State CPAs LLC. The combined firm will locate its offices at 18 South State Street in Dover and will retain the name First State CPAs LLC. The new partnership of John P. Kelly CPA, Ronald J. Pryor CPA, and Kathleen A. Sarchett CPA will be able to offer clients the benefit of a combined 50 years of experience in public accounting. First State CPAs LLC is also home to staff accountants Alexis Lynn and Matilda Troyer - each with nearly 5 years of experience.
According to Kelly, this union will enable the long-time colleagues to take advantage of each others’ expertise. “There are so many new tax laws and issues facing individuals and business owners in the down economy. It is becoming more and more difficult for CPAs to be able to provide expert advice in every area without working as a team.” Ron Pryor agreed and added that: “Each of us brings different strengths, interests, and community relationships to the table.
