Dover: Ronald Pryor CPA and Kathleen Sarchett CPA have formed First State CPAs LLC. The new firm will be located at the offices formerly occupied by Pryor, Ordway & Co. P.A. at 18 South State Street in Dover.
The firm member’s will continue to work primarily with small business owners and their bookkeepers, especially those that operate in more than one state, such as contractors and e-commerce merchants. According to Kathy Sarchett, these businesses often experience issues with registering/remaining in good standing, payroll, sales taxes, and filing multi-state tax returns. The firm also offers Quickbooks Pro Advisory services and training, strategic tax planning/tax return preparation for individuals, and financial statement reviews for compliance with bonding and/or grant requirements.
“Our greatest asset is our people,” said Ron Pryor. “We plan to work as a team to build a relationship between the firm and every client.” In addition to Pryor and Sarchett, First State CPAs LLC has retained two popular, four-year veterans of the former firm: CPA candidate Alexis Lynn and 2008 CDCC runner up for administrative professional of the year, Matilda Troyer.
